(English version below.)

Michelle Brechtelsbauer vom Energy Impact Center

English version

The OPEN100 reactor caused some attention last year because it is one of the first nuclear power plants with an open source design. At the Nuklearia roundtable on 2020-12-21, starting at 8 pm, we want to take a closer look at this reactor.

The OPEN100 is a small, modular, pressurized water reactor and was created by the American Energy Impact Center. This energy and climate policy think tank may be familiar to those who listen to the “Titans of Nuclear” podcast.

At the beginning of the roundtable, Michelle Brechtelsbauer from Energy Impact Center will show a presentation on OPEN100, and then the EIC team will be available for questions. We will collect questions and answers in a Google document that we will work on during the roundtable.

Both the presentation and the Q&A session will be in English.

How to participate in the online roundtable can be found on our roundtable page (in German).

Privacy notice: We will make an audio recording of the entire event and publish it. Those who don’t want to be heard in it should mute themselves the whole time. Those who do not want to leave any data traces in the Google document should not participate in the editing and preferably not even open it at all.
